With how popular Zero Build Mode has proven to be (as shown above via Gamesight ), and how many problems building has in Fortnite , it might seem strange for Epic Games to keep it around. However, despite its faults, it's still popular; some players enjoy building massive structures during their battle royale matches. Displeasing half the player base for one of its most successful games most likely wouldn't be a good move for Epic, so from a business standpoint, it makes sense. It's not likely that a Fortnite 2 would be made due to the nature of the Battle Pass system, so the company needs to keep Fortnite players happy if it wants to keep making money.
